Socratic Productions’ President
Jim Cooper has been making films and documentaries for more than 25 years. From his graduate work in Film Production to serving as Director of Corporate Communications for a large Midwest company, Jim’s experience spans television news, commercial productions, and numerous corporate film and video projects.

Jim also founded the nationally-recognized multimedia training company Teletutor, specializing in telecommunications technology. As founder of Socratic Productions in 2003, Jim’s mission is to create quality work that promotes self-discovery and sensitively responds to clients’ needs.

A visionary and lifelong lover of film verite, Jim’s greatest passion comes from being behind the camera and from the magic he creates in the editing room.

Joining Jim is Socratic Productions’ Vice President Terry Hambel. Terry has been a longtime business partner with Jim. He has more than 30 years of experience with innovative software and technical development, as well as a wealth of engineering and editing expertise.

A certified helicopter pilot and instructor, Terry’s perspective is truly above the rest. He is an insatiable collector of ideas, with inexhaustible creative approaches to project development and problem solving.
